AP Fashion’s offices & mills are located in Calcutta, Bangalore for their wide range of products such as below: Below is the product range: - a. 100% silk fabrics in plain qualities, jacquards, yarn dyed, hand embroideries, machine embroideries & wild silk such as matkas, tussah and related fabrics & printed fabrics. Besides this, there is wide range of different qualities of 100% cotton fabrics, 100% linen, cotton/linen blends and many different silk qualities. They are specialized in all wild silk qualities like tassar, matkas and noils. This was the mill who first introduced this fabric to the international market and they do have their own production facility where this fabric is produced and the total processes are done in house and quality is controlled at all levels personally. b. Silk blends such as silk/cotton, silk/viscose, silk/polyester in plain qualities as well as jacquards and machine embroideries. Plain qualities include dupions & taffetas. I have to say that in dupion, we have many different qualities such as lightest weight to the heaviest weight fabrics. c. Most importantly, AP fashions is highly creative in high end fabrics that are made by using lots of appliqués by using lots of interesting fabrics such as brocades, prints, tweeds, chiffons etc, in addition to their expertise in yarn dyed qualities in 100% silk woven on power looms as well as shuttle less looms. d. In embroideries, we have exclusive designs made by hand machine that have exquisite craftsmanship & detail oriented designs with great sense of quality. Here we have included some of the most beautiful raw materials such as brocades, prints, checks and stripes and plain qualities as appliqués and many different types of plastic and metallic sequins and multi colored threads. e. Next and the most important area of production is Garments & scarves. Here also they have established their market in Europe already and now looking to expand in the USA. They have their own garment production units in Calcutta.
