Guangdong Songfa Ceramics Co., Ltd. is a private enterprise that links ceramics raw materials research& development, products design & production, exporting and foreign exchange settlement. It has grown greatly since established in 1985. It is combined by one main manufacturing factory, five branch factories, one ceramics raw materials processing factory and one provincial engineering research and development institute of ceramics materials. It has over 1600 employees , 126 engineers and technicians among them. Songfa exploits 2000 pcs/sets of new products per year, which include porcelain, stoneware, dolomite, durable porcelain and bone china. It built up a reputation from producing daily use ceramics for Expo of East Asia Leaguers, the State Council and the Great Hall of the People. It is one of the biggest potential enterprises in China, and only one of complete variety of daily use ceramics. Since 1995, Songfa has been honored as "Enterprise of observing contract and valuing credit", and honored as "one of the ten biggest rate paying enterprises" and "big exporter" in Chaozhou since 1998. It has passed FDA test, ISO9001:2000 quality certification and ISO14001 environmental certification. In 2003, Songfa was honored as " Guangdong Famous Brand", and "Guangdong Top Brand" in 2004 , and "Enterprise of Good Quality& Credit" by China Quality&Credit Evaluation Center in the same year. In 2005, it was honored as "China Famous Brand" and "Product Exemption from Quality Surveillance Inspection"in 2006. Songfa has been honored as "Chaozhou First-Class Private Enterprise", "Chaozhou Civilized Enterprise", "Guangdong Private Science &Technology Enterprise", "Guangdong New & Hi-Tech Enterprise" and Guangdong Civilized Enterprise". In October 2006, Songfa was assigned to produce ceramic wares for national banquet. In March 2007, Songfa finished producing the mugs special used in the Great Hall of the People , which was specially appointed by Mr.Wu Bangguo , chief of the National Congress. This was the first time in Chaozhou history. 90% of Songfa's products are exported, mostly of them to US, Europe and Australia . Songfa seeks for innovation and persons with ability, it works on daily use ceramics with artistic shapes. Based on the research & development center of saily use ceramics, which costed Songfa more than 5,000,000.00 RMB in 2004, Songfa has been the winner by gaining many gold and silver medals from China's Ceramic Wares Design Competition. Mr.Wu Bangguo, Mr.Zhang Dejiang , Mr. Huang Huahua and many governmental officials have visited Songfa and appreciated it highly as well.
