Riviera Clay Phils. Inc.

Riviera Clay Phils., Inc. has been operating since 1986 and was incorporated in 1990. The company is known as a manufacturing and exporter of Philippine handicrafts. Over the years, it has developed expertise in handcrafted pots, jars, vases, planters, wall plaques, candleholders, candle votives, decorative plates and bowls. Products are hand-painted, cold-painted and/or with different glazed designs. To date, it has expanded by combining clay with other materials like metals (such as bronze, brass, copper, wrought iron), glass and other natural materials (like raffia, abaca rope, sea grass and vines, etc.). In 1998, the company was given the Golden Shell Award for Design and Marketing Excellence by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). It won the Best Product Collection and had been nominated for Best Booth Display by the Manila F.A.M.E., an international trade show held every April and October in Manila. The head office is located in the business center of the Philippines, which houses the marketing, shipping and accounting departments. There are a total of six (6) officers and staff that caters to the needs and requirements of the company's customers. Riviera Clay's 1.5 hectare factory is located at San Pablo Propio, San Simon, Pampanga. It consists of 50 employees and 400 production manpower. The factory houses facilities such as a Thermic Dryer from the United Kingdom, four (4) gas kilns of 15 cbm capacity per kiln, a generator unit set as back up in case of power loss, and a clay preparation equipment capable of processing 40 tons of clay daily.
