PT Tjakrindo Mas initially established in 1984 on Tanjungsari street, Tandes - Surabaya. In the beginning, the company deals with offices and hospital equipments made of steel and plastic. In 1990s, PT Tjakrindo Mas started to produce low and medium voltage of electricity panel for governmental institution such as PLN (the National Electricity Company). The company grows even more as product diversification and improvement of production capacity through the added new production facility was taken place. Aside from producing office and hospital equipment, PVC pipe and fitting and electricity panel, the company also produces concrete products such as concrete poles, railway sleepers and concrete fences As our respond to the Indonesian economic crisis at the end of 1997, we have done product diversification by producing wood and steel furniture for international market. This breakthrough not only saves the company from economic crisis but also opens the international market to us that proves to have strengthened the companys fundamentals
