How quickly will I get access to the Panjiva platform?

Immediately. It will take you about 60 seconds to subscribe, at which point you will get immediate access to the Panjiva platform.

Are there limits on how much I can use the platform?

With a Starter account, you can search all you want, but you will only be able to review 10 detailed company profiles per day. With an Entrepreneur or Professional account, there are no limits. Search all day, every day. Just remember that the data you access is for your use only and cannot be shared outside of your company.

What do company profiles look like for Panjiva users?

Take a look at a sample exporter/supplier profile or a sample importer/buyer profile.

How will I access data from Panjiva's affiliates?

When our affiliates have data available on companies in the Panjiva database, you will be able to buy this information a la carte via the Panjiva platform. If you want access to this data when doing searches (for instance, if you want to be able to focus your searches on suppliers that have certifications), you'll want to buy data packages. A Panjiva account executive can help you determine which data packages are right for you.

What if I need help using Panjiva?

Can I upgrade my account at any time?

If I get everything I need from Panjiva, can I cancel my subscription?

Yes. Simply email cancel@panjiva.com. You will not be charged again, but you are responsible for charges already incurred up until your cancellation. Note that we don't offer prorated refunds if you cancel mid-month.

What types of payment do you accept?

Currently we accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Other payment methods can be arranged by speaking to a Panjiva account executive.

Where does the name "Panjiva" come from?

Many millions of years ago, all of the world's continents were joined together as a single super-continent. Scientists call this super-continent "Pangaea" (pronounced Pan-JEE-ah). "Panjiva" is simply a twist on "Pangaea." The Panjiva team likes to think that it's bringing the continents—or at least the people on them—close together.
