At the end of 2014, Panjiva and Sourcing Journal invited trade executives from all over the world to participate in a survey about the state of global trade and their thoughts on the coming year. Over 350 people responded, and the 2015 State of Trade Report is now ready!

Some findings include:

• Concerns about Costs: Rising wages and volatile commodity prices have created fear over increasing manufacturing costs
• Trapped in China: Dependence on China is forcing buyers to find cost savings in improved manufacturing efficiency instead of new sourcing hotspots
• Trade Services to Grow: Increased budgets for buyers could mean growth in the trade service sector, from trade data sites to sourcing agents worldwide
