The U.S. ITA has delayed a duty decision in its investigation of Argentine and Indonesian biodiesel exports to October 19 from August 30. That is the second delay, and is one of 10 cases that have been postponed since the start of the year. The pause will prove costly for U.S. biodiesel producers. Argentine exports double in June on a year earlier, leading total U.S. imports to rise 14% (Indonesian exports have ended). Buyers are benefitting though – average import values per kg fell 52% in June.
