Deutsche Post DHL reported 4Q 2018 revenue growth of 5.1%. That was the fastest rate of growth since 3Q 2017 but lagged the freight forwarder sector average of 7.1%, in part due to seafreight volumes that grew by just 0.5%. The firm plans to grow at levels “closer to market” in 2019, which can be seen in its U.S. seaborne imports which expanded by 4.5% year over year in the first two months of 2019 after lagging the sector average in 4Q.
