Ecotec Exit Means Ford Will Lose Its Indian Export Crown

Indian exports of cars and motorcycles climbed 13% on a year earlier in September, making for the eighth straight increase in terms of vehicles shipped. While Maruti Suzuki was the largest exporter in terms of number of vehicles, Ford was by far the largest shipper in value terms, and has reached $947 million in the past 12 months.
