President Donald Trump has indicated that China will cut its tariffs on passenger car imports from 40% as part of the deal reached with President Xi Jinping at the G20 Summit. The details, including the new tariff level, have yet to be confirmed by the Chinese government. The beneficiaries include BMW, who exported $3.70 billion of cars to China from the U.S. in 2017, Tesla’s $1.67 billion of exports as well as Daimler and Ford.
