Hapag-Lloyd has had to pause operations of a container vessel, Tsingtao Express, due to a COVID-19 outbreak. The event shines a light on the hazards faced by sailors, many of whom still face challenges in returning home after their voyages due to pandemic travel restrictions. Less importantly, the timings for deliveries from the vessel, which is operating the PN4 routing through to Tacoma, Washington is unknown.
