Mexican exports of cars and trucks set a new record in March after climbing 10% on a year earlier and in 18 of the past 20 months. Light truck sales in the U.S. have been a major contributor, with General Motors’ exports rising 43% in the first quarter, followed by Volkswagen’s 18% growth.
