The Ocean Alliance of container-lines including CMA-CGM, COSCO Shipping, Orient Overseas and Evergreen has followed THE Alliance in releasing its new schedule. The “Day 2” offering increases capacity by 3% while cutting the number of vessels by 3% and maintaining (with some rearrangements) its 41 routes. The 6% rise in average vessel size may reflect success in building market share on its routes.
