Workers at Mexican industrial parts maker Compania Armadora have accused the firm of pressuring them to return to work in the midst of COVID-19. Concerns about worker safety drove the Mexican government’s shutdown of non-essential manufacturing which has only recently ended. Armadora’s exports from Mexico are focused on electric motors including supplies to Regal Beloit, with total shipments in April linked to Armadora having fallen by 58.6% year over year in April.
