ResMed, Danaher face continued demand, new headwinds in ventilator supplies

U.S. demand for ventilators appears to be expanding as the pandemic continues. That includes ongoing sales with ResMed CFO Brett Sandercock noting the “success of our resupply service offerings”. Manufacturers face new headwinds however. Danaher CFO Matthew McGrew alluded to some of those, noting that “we are starting to see a little bit of inflationary pressure, particularly around freight and a little bit in the supply chain as well.” U.S. imports of ventilators climbed 40.5% higher year over year in October and November combined, while the major importers also scaled up their shipment...
