Global coffee exports increased 7% on a year earlier in December, with Colombia’s 23% expansion and Indonesia’s 50% leap the main drivers. These offset a 6% contraction in Brazil’s supplies. Panjiva analysis shows exports by all countries to the U.S., the largest coffee importer after the EU, increased 14%. Buyers including Rothfos, Coex and Mercon offset the Brazilian decline via a 57% higher draw from Vietnam and 13% higher volumes from Colombia.
