Concerns are emerging regarding the availability of rubber for auto tires, with Carlstar Group stating they will “take materials as fast as (suppliers) can get them to” the firm. The potential shortage falls on an industry already beset by poor semiconductor availability, though a dearth of tires will have a wider impact on secondary market sales heading into the U.S. driving season.
