Terex lifts prices to handle higher costs as maintenance demand jacks up

Terex Corporation released Q1’21 revenue growth of 3.7% year over year. This was matched by supply chain activity with U.S. seaborne imports linked to the firm having increased by 6.0% year over year in Q1’21. That’s come despite the firm “seeing disruptions in the supply chain that’s impacting our production levels” according to CEO John Garrison. The firm has also had to deal with a “substantial increase in material costs” leading Terex to apply “an incremental price increase in March”.
