The EU has identified 2.83 billion euros ($3.5 billion) of U.S. product exports that it may apply tariffs to in retaliation for metals duties announced by President Trump. One route is an in-kind, “safeguarding” review and duties against steel imports, which account for 30% of the EU’s targets.
