Smartphone maker Xiaomi may carry out an IPO during 2018 at a potential valuation of $50 billion according to press reports. While the company has stated it has no specific plans at this stage, it is steadily expanding both its product range and target markets. Panjiva data shows its exports climbed 45% sequentially and 195% annually in the third quarter to reach $647 million.
