Vessels waiting outside the port of Los Angeles and Long Beach exceeded 60 vessels as of Sep 16, showing how the holiday season is ramping up congestion at those ports that may have already hit capacity limits. Disruptions in China and Vietnam don’t seem to have lifted much pressure, even with imports from Yantian to LA and Long Beach falling by 33.7% year over year.
