China’s Export Expectations Slow While Import Appetite Accelerates

China’s export boom may slow further, with Chinese managers’ outlook for export orders dropping to its lowest since January. However, that doesn’t mean world trade will slow. The import order situation has continued to improve and has reached its highest since March 2012. That would indicate economic growth is domestically-led in China. As a result the slowing of export growth being seen across Asia may – at least temporarily – be arrested.
