China’s export boom looks set to continue after the latest official survey of managers showed sentiment remains positive, albeit at a slightly lower level than a year earlier (51% vs. 52% where anything over 50% represents expansion). That was still the second best outcome since April 2012, and follows 11% export growth in June. The result matches the multi-year highs seen in manager sentiment in Europe. Import expectations also remain firmly positive, suggesting the double digit export growth seen in Japan and South Korea should continue too.
