Global airfreight grew 8% on a year earlier in October, according to IATA, with the seventh straight increase also the fastest since February 2015. Load factors still remain below 2014 levels, but have at least improved on 2015 for a second month. U.S. airlines saw 7% growth, confirming the expansion seen in the PCCI for the month. The outlook may be positive – Chinese and U.S. managers remain optimistic and consumer confidence appears upbeat too.
