Brazil’s Farmers to Count Fewer Chicken Exports as China Hatches New Tariffs

The Chinese government has applied tariffs of 40% on Brazilian poultry exports after completing an anti-dumping investigation. That’s the third blow for Brazilian farmers after disruptive trucking strikes and sanitary restrictions on shipments to the EU and the U.S. The Chinese market has been vital for farmers in two ways.
