China Calls for IP Rule Relaxation As Part of 100 Day Plan

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce has called on the U.S. government to relax export controls, including those applied to water treatment equipment. That could provide a route to increase exports as part of the 100 day program agreed by President Xi and President Trump. Such a move would need significant updates to existing intellectual property policies to deliver though.
