Comprehensive Economic Dialogue (CED) talks between the U.S. and China did not yield significant new export “wins” for the U.S. While talks will be continued in the coming year, no firm deadlines have been set. The two agreed to “constructively cooperate” to narrow the U.S. trade deficit with China, which appeared to be the main focus of the talks.
