COVID concerns reach Hong Kong poultry imports; dims prospects for Aurora

The Hong Kong authorities have banned some imports of Brazilian chicken by Aurora due to evidence of SARS-nCoV-2 on the packaging. While Hong Kong only represented 2.1% of Aurora’s Brazilian poultry exports in the 12 months to June 30, adding mainland China brings the total to 24.1%. Shipments expanded by 43.7% year over year in the past 12 months.
