Brazilian authorities have approved three more U.S. GMO corn crops for import. This comes as the crop yields struggle in the face of poor weather conditions. Panjiva data shows Brazil’s corn exports fell 25% on a year earlier in August, and imports jumped 34%. So far Brazil has relied on Argentine corn to make up shortfalls – there seems to be an opportunity for U.S. seed suppliers and farmers.
