The U.S. may become the world’s second largest LNG supplier by 2022, the IEA estimate. That would be the result of a significant program of construction supported by the Trump administration. The investments could lead to 27 export facilities coming online vs. one currently. U.S. exports climbed 9x on a year earlier in May in dollar terms, with volumes reaching a new high.
