Mattel has secured the rights to produce toys based on Disney princesses with the transfer from their rival Hasbro happening in 2023. This is a win for Mattel, who had previously lost the rights. Imports of toys had a booming Q4, up 14.6%, although some of the increase may be attributed to late shipments getting through congestion at the last minute.
