President Donald Trump has stated that trade with Pakistan could increase at least four-fold after meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan. No formal process has been put in place to achieve that aim, but Pakistan’s need is clear after total exports fell 0.2% year over year in the 12 months to May 31 and after India applied significant extra tariffs in February.
