Mexican Tequila maker Jose Cuervo has completed its delayed $790 million initial public offering. This comes as its exports of tequila jumped 36% in the fourth quarter, outpacing a national average of 8%. Competitors include Tequila Sauza and international producers Brown Forman and Diageo. The jump may be the result of retailers bringing forward purchases ahead of U.S. tariffs. Tequila and beer are among Mexico’s top 50 exports to the U.S., and will likely feature in NAFTA renegotiations.
