India and the EU will continue with talks to formulate the Broad-based Trade and Investment Agreement (BTIA) in mid-November. That’s just one of several global trade deals that appear to be accelerating as a response to U.S. trade policy. BTIA’s progress may be complicated by precedents from the EU’s trade deal with Japan and India’s involvement in the RCEP project which includes China.
