Brandix COVID-19 investigation raises supply chain questions for PVH, H&M

Apparel manufacturer Brandix has come under investigation by Sri Lanka’s Attorney General who has stated a report will be issued by Nov. 13 into whether there has been “negligence on the part of Brandix resulting in the spread” of COVID-19 at a factory in Gampaha. Worker safety has become a key issue for apparel brands and retailers in the wake of the pandemic.
