The European Council has approved an extension of the Brexit deadline to Oct. 31, subject to the U.K. taking part in EU elections on May 23. If it does not – which isn’t a guarantee given the fractious state of British, and specifically Conservative Party politics – the Brexit date reverts to Jun. 1.
