Hurricane Matthew had closed Buckeye Partners’s distribution hub in the Bahamas, but it has started to reopen and should be fully operational by the end of October. Panjiva data shows shipments from the port had been growing, reaching 12 in September and accounting for 4.5% of U.S. gulf- and east-coast imports. Main users of Freeport including Shell and Staoil can now get back to business.
