The U.S. Commerce Department has determined that Chinese exports of aluminum sheets were dumped and subsidized in the first, and so far only, self-initiated antidumping case by the Trump administration. The case has been successful in removing Chinese suppliers, with imports from there down 94.4% on a year earlier in the third quarter.
