Deutsche Post beats a bad benchmark in April, says Q2 not as severe as feared

The freight forwarding sector had a tough Q1, shown by Deutsche Post’s earnings report which included a 9.5% year over year slide in air freight and a 5.7% drop in ocean freight handling. COVID-19 had an impact on the forwarding industry more broadly through lower customer demand and equipment disruptions.
