Following their merger, the combined DSV-Panalpina’s growth strategy will focus in part on Trans-Pacific trade lanes, according to CEO Jens Bjorn Andersen. The firm has already started offsetting reduced flows on China-to-U.S. routes, which fell 6.2% year over year in 3Q, with a 24.9% surge in containerized freight shipments to the U.S. from Asia ex-China.
