GoPro has announced its first quarter revenues could climb 14% on a year earlier – the stock climbed 12% in response. Yet, it also cut 17% of its workforce. Panjiva data shows that U.S. imports associated with GoPro fell by 19% in the three months to February 28 on a year earlier. That includes a 44% slide in the month of February alone making a second month of reversal after a strong December. The decline comes against the backdrop of a 27% rise in camera and component imports and 124% jump in drone imports.
