Corp - Ports 882 Logistics 476 Mode - Containerized 1473 Mode - Seaborne 1804 U.S. 5323

The Port of Los Angeles outperformed Long Beach for a fourth month in November. LA saw volumes climb 24%, with imports increasing 22% to their highest ever as it won Asian-sourced volumes from Long Beach, Panjiva data shows. A 14% drop following the Hanjin Shipping crisis saw Long Beach deliver its worst November for volumes since 2011. The future for Long Beach depends in part on its ownership, with the frontrunner to buy Hanjin’s stake being MSC according to press reports.
