U.S. Deficit Narrows on Beans, Errors Still Present

The U.S. trade deficit for July was 7.5% smaller than economists expected, according to Reuters, driven in part by high exports of soybeans – confirming our earlier analysis. The difference between the advance and final estimates of imports remain around 1.3% – caveat lector.
