Yildirim Holdings has commenced the process of selling its 24% stake in container-line CMA-CGM at a valuation of $2.5 billion to $3.0 billion. That comes on the heels of CMA-CGM completing its financial restructuring. There is no indication of whether a sale to an industry participant or financial buyer is preferred, though the stake would not require a bid for the whole company.
