EU Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström as reiterated that “agriculture would not be part” of a U.S.-EU trade deal. That may make the deal simpler to complete but misses a significant opportunity for the American side. U.S. exports of agricultural products to the EU reached $9.17 billion in the 12 months to Sept. 30 after a 13.7% increase.
