Biodiesel Buys Begin to Decline as ITC Takes Up Case

The U.S. ITC will proceed with an investigation into allegations that exports of biodiesel from Argentina and Indonesia were dumped at rates of up to 34%. A vote is due by May 5, and while the case has had little attention so far the Indonesian government may draw attention to it during Vice President Mike Pence’s forthcoming visit to the region. Panjiva data shows that while imports for the 12 months through February 28 were 112% higher than a year earlier, in the month of March they fell 23%.
