China’s Exports Continue Slide, Recovery Not Yet in Sight

China’s exports in July were unexpectedly weak, and imports dropped 12.5%. Exports to the EU fell 3.6%, suggesting Brexit is biting, while exports to the U.S. are still falling, but at a slower rate. The government expects a recovery, but the latest Federation of Logistics & Purchasing survey suggests not.
