The container shipping lines operating U.S. inbound services saw volume growth of just 1.6% year over year in 2Q, a near halving from the rate seen in 1Q. Among the container-lines the pattern of winners and losers was similar to 1Q, with COSCO Shipping suffering a 15.8% year over year decline after a 15.2% slide in 1Q.
