The U.S. ITA has postponed to February from December the deadline for preliminary decisions in the investigation of ESB rubber from Brazil, Korea, Mexico and Poland. The delay may prove costly for plaintiffs Lion Elastomers and East West Copolymer. Imports had already been falling ahead of the case – by 22% in the quarter before the case on a year earlier – but have subsequently rebounded by 72% in September on a year earlier and 146% in October.
