The Ports of Seattle and Tacoma face potential operating disruptions as the West Seattle Bridge requires repairs. The bridge’s upper deck was cracked last year and needs to be repaired at the same time as the Ports add a fifth terminal. That’s just the latest challenge facing the port after a 10th straight month of declining traffic in June. Volumes of containerized freight dropped by 16.4% drop including a 15.1% slide in imports.
